Martha Rogers, Ph.D. Marketing 1:1, inc., Founding Partner Co-author, Enterprise One To One and The One To One Future

Co-author (with Don Peppers) of the ground-breaking international best-seller The One to One Future: Building Relationships One Customer at a Time (Currency/Doubleday, 1993), Martha Rogers has delivered keynote addresses, workshops and consulting projects for clients around the world.

Working through her Stamford, Connecticut, management consulting firm, marketing 1:1, inc., she specializes in thought leadership and strategy in the fast-growing fields of interactivity, marketing technology, relationship management, and business development. Current and recent clients include such firms as AT&T, BroadVision, Fiat (Italy), Ford, Harley-Davidson, Hewlett-Packard, BellSouth, Little Tykes, Nationwide Insurance, Rubbermaid, Owens-Corning, 3M, Pitney-Bowes, EDS, Fujitsu (Japan), Northern Telecom (Canada), Royal Bank of Canada, Bell Canada, Prudential Securities, and American Municipal Utilities.

Her new book, Enterprise One to One: Tools for Competing in the Interactive Age, also co-authored with Mr. Peppers, was published by Currency/Doubleday in January 1997. It was excerpted in the January 1997 issue of Inc. Magazine, which recently featured Rogers and Peppers on the cover, under the caption “Marketing Doctors.” Dr. Rogers frequently appears on a variety of television and radio programs covering business trends and features, and receives rave reviews speaking to national and international audiences on the future of marketing.

In addition to publishing academic research in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and other scholarly publications, Dr. Rogers has, with Mr. Peppers, contributed to many other journals, books, and newsletters around the world, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes ASAP, Wired, Marketing Tools, BrandWeek, Direct, New Media Age (U.K.), and Diamond New Media (Japan).

Dr. Rogers, a former Professor of Telecommunications and Marketing, began her career as a copywriter and advertising executive. She earned her Ph.D. at University of Tennessee as a Bickel fellow, has served on the National Advertising Review Board in New York, and has testified as an expert before the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. She has served on the editorial board for the Tom Peters Group newsletter, “On Achieving Excellence,” and has been named the 1997 International Sales and Marketing Executives Professor of the Year.
